I just finished jarring up my semi-aromatic blend. I used 2 ounces of C&D Chocolate Cavendish, 2 ounces of McClelland 5100, 1 ounce of Latakia, and a half ounce(the tobacco was very dry, so I went by volume instead of weight...1 ounce was a LOT) of Dark Burley.

Nice. I've been considering mixing up a semi-aro too using Nightcap & Sleepy Hollow. SleepyCap? NightHollow? I just need to figure out a way to press them for a week or so to get a full melange.

I'm finally smoking a bowl of my blend...10 months later. Five minutes in, and it's definitely a winner. I will be making more of this!

A light chocolate flavor that stayed in the background. Definitely not like the usual heavily cased aromatic. It ended up an English blend with some chocolate taste and aroma. Works for me!

That sounds nice! I don't care for heavily cased aros so something subtle that tastes more natural is definitely more appealing.
