Are the smokes in the JR rapid auction fire worth buying? There are to many brands that I know nothing about. I can get some 5ers for decent prices. These are the latest that have went through. What are your thoughts on these and anything else that might run through?

Avoid the bundles. Anything more than a fiver is a big commitment to something you might not even like. Even if you do like it at first, if you're relatively new to cigars, your palate will likely change before you're halfway through with them. Also, the bundles above probably suck by almost any standards.

If the RyJ maduro is what I think it is, I smoked one once and enjoyed it.

I see several brands I recognize but every brand has several different types. Ill probably snag some 5ers if they run cheap enough and see what I get. Bundles and boxes are no use to me right now. Only interested in 5ers..

I see you're new to the forum, sign up for the newbie cigar trade and expand your palate!

Avoid boxes at all costs (for now) until you find something YOU like from a 5-er or maybe just one single cigar that you can't get enough of smoking.

Check out the today's smoke section too and see what we're all smoking that might spark your interest!

Seen the newbie trade. Don't have any sticks to trade. Most definitely in a trial and error phase. Going through my B&M stock 1 stick at a time. So far I have like everything I have tried. I like my B&M but I can get more bang for my $ if I order some 5ers also. Boxes and bundles are out since my pockets don't run that deep right now. I do have a small humi seasoning right now so that I can work on a small stash. I'll spend about 20-25$ a weekend at B&M. Depending on what I pick up I get 3-4 sticks at a time.

I learned that Gurkha is the Rolls Royce of cigars recently, so I better snag a cab or two.
Take them all so nobody else has to. Make sure to grab a few of those $1000 sticks.

I have to apologize. I did not realize you were new and i was poking fun of an article posted here earlier today describing Gurkha that way.

It's all good. I read the article also. Yes I am new to this site. But not a total noob. I was poking fun back at you. I have been reading, lurking and taking mental notes. Trying to enjoy this hobby on a budget.

@csk415 if you're looking at auction sites and trying new stuff, www.cigarauctioneer.com has lots of singles and is operated by one of our site supporters. Just make sure to set your shipping preferences to combined shipping before you bid on anything.
Booked marked that site the other day. By no means am I a high roller or even a mid roller. Buying sticks 5ers and under is what I need.
