For no real reason, smoked a couple Las Calaveras today.
Currently enjoying this 2016 LC46. Only the second one out of the box. Very spicy and full flavored. Maybe another month, and these might be fantastic. Both of the ones I've had have been very veiny, and more rustic than I expected. Is this the case for everyone, or did I just get a weird batch?
Earlier, I had a 2015 LC46 (not pictured). A year's age has been great for them. Very smooth, but still complex. Great flavors, especially on the retrohale. In my opinion, they are a very underrated cigar. They got a bad rap because they weren't the same as the 2014 (and everyone wanted them to be a rerelease of the 2014). Like seeing a knuckleball when you were expecting a fastball.
