Ditto... nothing like having all you need at your finger tips ~xoxOne of the best things about rolling at home is that you always have the materials at hand to repair things like split wrappers. I've done it many times. I have even opened up commercial cigars with bad draws and re-wrapped them tighter or looser as needed.
Haven't forgotten about you, just had a little project pop up to interrupt...Ditto... nothing like having all you need at your finger tips ~xox

I think it's all in the prep work. Hose them down liberally the night before, then i check them in the morning and removed the mid rib and apply more water if necessary. They are good to go when i get home from work!Pretty work B, I'm still trying to figure out how you guys get the wrapper to be shiny ..
I probably have a post of her somewhere on here, but that is Nala a lion head rabbit. She occasionally joins me as a smoking buddy on the porch, but is always my rolling buddy since she's right next to the table. I'll have to get her in a glamour shot one of these rolling nightsI thought it was a severed human body part. I didn't want to mention it.. enlighten us please?
Also, I'll take this one step further, do NOT leave your leaves prepping for any time longer, say 3 days. The wrapper gets incredibly fragile and you will most definitely get tears and none of the shineI think it's all in the prep work. After you prep the leaf, and you'll have to give the moisture time to penetrate into the leaf, take your finger and stretch it into the back of the leaf. You'll see the oils come up to the surface. Now, the leaf will have to have enough oil in it. A shade or some thinner wrappers will not. So, stretching it tight will get you there... Those pigs you make are awesome! Both. The technique is having them in a 60rg mold with the ends with a lesser pack. The final shaping is in the wrapper while the filler still pliable. Those pigs you make are awesome! Freehand or mold?
Ahhh, I see. Last night's rolling I managed to get the second part of the cap shiny so if I'd rolled the rest of the wrapper tighter, it would've been shiny also.
