As promised, many thanks to @Hopduro (having a bitch of a time keeping the burn line going, is that normal?)
I have a box of the Torpedoes and don't have any issues. I love the taste of them and would still think they'd be worth it if I had to touch them up every now and then.
I do live in Arizona and keep them at about 63% so that does help when it comes to keeping cigars lit.

I'm finding that i really dig torpedoes in all marcas. I think the shallow cut helps focus the draw which helps the burn and perhaps concentrates flavor.

That's one thing i really want to learn is how to roll them.
