Sorry for the long title there. I just felt compelled to post about this. I should of last night but my brain wasn't having the words come to mind. Anyways, last night I'm by my sister's for Christmas. I brought my ashtray, v cutter, and crappy single torch with me. I know my BIL had something for us to smoke and I have the gear for it. Long story short, it was just me smoking alone as per usual. But tonight I was able to try a new to me method for lighting and the name I can't think of right now. You torch it up, blow on it, then cut, then purge, then enjoy. Before doing this I also got a cup of coffee these hawaiian grown beans. I'm not a big coffee drinker at all mind you. The cigar was a Punch Elite SMS and was very aged from the way the cello looked.

Maybe it was just a good night for it. Maybe it was the coffee. I had never had coffee with a cigar. Maybe lighting it this way was a placebo effect and made me think it was just much better. I don't know what it was but the whole hour I had smoked it (and got a 2nd cup of coffee) it was just bliss for me. It wasn't freezing out nor windy as it usually is. The amount of smoke from each puff was copious. The cigar wasn't the best tasting I admit but I didn't really care. I hope to have another experience like that with my next cigar and if not, that's just fine. But after almost a year of having a cigar several times a month, that was the first time I could really say I fully get the enjoyment of it. Anyways, that's my little story for the night. I didn't know where else to post it actually.

I just started so I'm trying different cigars as much as possible, plus with as hectic as its been I can't wait to have that kind of moment. Very cool write up, thanks!

Nothing better than when you're puffing away on a cigar or a pipe, and the ideal conditions coalesce with the ideal mood in the ideal environment and it hits you, "Holy shit....I'm having a Nirvana-smoke right now...."
