Recently I decided to start running to lose weight after I realized no one was standing on the weight scale with me. After a run, I like to relax in the back yard with a cigar and a cup of coffee. I like stronger sticks and never had a problem with the nicotine strength (in fact, occasionally when I'm out drinking with a cigarette smoker, I'll have a cigarette with him and enjoy the buzz).
Recently, after a hard 3 mile run (I'm not in shape yet), I sat down with a coffee and had a Tat Cojonu (the CBL version). I didn't realize it until after I was done, but I got pretty sick. It was the first time that had ever happened to me and caught me by surprise.
Today, another 3 mile run and halfway thru my MFLB, I started to feel nauseous and had to slow down. I even ate a small meal after the run just to be safe. This is a stick I've had many many times, and have never felt anything of the sort. Anyway, my question is, have any of you experienced this? I don't really like lighter sticks so am hoping it's not a problem that will last. Does coffee make it worse?
I enjoy a buzz from the rare cigarette when I'm drinking, but the nicotine feeling from a cigar is different and does not seem enjoyable. Maybe I like it when I'm drinking Scotch/bourbon, but I'm not sure.
FYI, I smoke about 2 cigars a week... 3 on a good week. I don't inhale any of it.
