It's probably the drain hole. When I first bought the thing I used electrical tape to "seal" it off once I ran my fan wiring through there. But the adhesive on the tape sort of got goopy so I pulled it all out and now that drain plug is open. Wasn't a problem, but damn it's a problem in the winter. I don't think the door seal is leaky, looks like a strong connection all around the door.
Yea outdoor humidity is in the 70's I think, due to all the snow. But my heat is running non stop due to extremely poor door and sliding door seals in this apartment, that's why I think it's so dry in here. Going to buy a humidifier today to at least keep by my bed to combat the draft at the sliding glass door in our bedroom.

You should buy a humidifier for your house. You'll be a lot more comfortable.
I'm going to buy a small one today to put on my nightstand. I didn't consider a whole house humidifier.
I'm in an apartment though and not sure where I'd put a large humidifier.

Sorry, looks like you mentioned that while I writing my reply. Maybe get a little one for the bedroom & the living room. They're fairly inexpensive & don't take up much space.
Yep I saw one I like on Amazon, but I think I'm just going to see what they have at Target. Not sure I can put up with another whole weekend of not being able to breathe in the morning.

Don't blame you. Air that dry would wreck my sinuses.
I'd like to put one in my home office where I work 8-10 hours a day but I've got nowhere to put one in here. I don't want to put it on top of my wino, or on the stand where my turntable and amp are for fear of damaging them. Would definitely be nice to have one in here too though!
Seriously, this little thing has been running non stop since I bought it a couple days ago, still only up to 17%. Doesn't help that there's also a draft at the sliding door right by the bed that I can't seem to seal no matter what I try.
