@jcolan1 I saw that glass on a recent add and was curious about it. Good nose? Feel in the hand? Weight? I'm interested to know your thoughts please.

I'm coming from drinking my whiskey in a regular tumbler and love the glass. The nose is excellent. The tulip shape helps concentrate things and I don't know if the fins in the bottom really make a difference as per the science-y claims, or if it's just psychology, but I do feel like there is less ethanol when giving things a smell.

The glasses are pretty light weight (again this is coming from someone who used a regular tumbler before) and can feel a bit fragile, but still have very nice feel to them. One of the things I like the best is how it feels in hand. It's not this tiny glass that you only get three fingers on. One thing to note is that if you ever use one big cube or ice sphere, it won't fit in the glass due to the tulip shaped design.

They're a bit pricey ($60 shipped for two) but I would still recommend them. I find that I enjoy the whole experience more when using them compared to when I was just pouring things in whatever small glass was around.

I spy Elmer T. Lee in the background. I hear that's making a comeback, although very hard to find here in NJ. Eagle Rare was my 2nd bourbon I ever had, it followed what is still my all time favorite Bourbon; Woodford Reserve Distillers Select (my first love into this exciting hobby)

Drinking Nikka Coffey Grain Whiskey tonight. Not bourbon. And as good as it is, it is no bourbon. Dang my palate is changing!

My little brother in Nashville, TN told me about this one. I would love to hear your tasting notes / thoughts about this one. It is a little bit expensive to purchase blind...
Thanks in advance ! Cheers!
I liked it but don't remember specific tasting notes...I'm sure it won't be too long before I pour another one though. Will report back then.
