Of those 5 the ETL would be my first choice, tho all of them are good whiskey.

4 Roses Single Barrel
Don't know what to think about this one. It's my 1st 4 roses expression, lots of hype on this one. It doesn't have quite the finish I expected, kinda short like Eagle Rare. I really want to like it but it's falling short of my expectations. The best stopper by far (even better than Blantons.

Well I know you like wheaters so I think of those there that you would have ranked WSR, EC12, Russel Reserve, Four Roses and ELT in that order. I have all of those and for me it would be EC12, Russel Reserve, Four Roses, WSR and finally ELT.

Final order last night and the RR 10 year beat everything by a whole point! (8.5/10)
The middle 3 were close
WSR was the lowest rated and I've been drinking it daily!!!! Ha!

Finishing up the dregs of my latest bottle of Colonel EH Taylor small batch. This is an excellent whiskey, but locally its climbed to $50 a jug. In my opinion this is roughly $20 higher than it should be. Does anyone really think its worth twice the price of Buffalo Trace? I don't.

I use all the bourbons that don't quite cut it as a sippers in cocktails but I have been known to put some good ones in cocktails as well. I usually buy Bottled-in-bonds for cocktail use. If other bourbons I buy don't pass my sipper test then into cocktails they go. I have never tasted a bad bourbon in a cocktail that is well made.
