I don't, usually spend about $100 a month. I have way more than I can smoke so I'm trying to cut back. Problem is I'm still in the "try everything" stage so it is easier said than done.

This ^^^^ and when she says what is that box and I reply "cigars" followed by a silence no response whatsoever as she carries on, I know I'm beyond my budget. She asked me once "how much do you spend a month on cigars anyways? $60?"
I've never laughed so loud and short in my life.

I keep it within limits, but my wife and I have an overall budget which gets sent out each week, so she is aware of what I buy and informed, it's tracked to the penny. I have found I am actually able to buy more since I am honest and upfront. If we know we have a large purchase then I scale back for a few months. Personally, sharing a budget with my wife increases the communication and helps the relationship, we rarely ever disagree about the finances, because it's a joint effort for us. That's just my situation though.
There are a few places that take lapyap which I have tied to a checking account for lapyap and Amazon only. It's a free echecking account. I move some money each month into the account. That's how I can pay cash but still shop online. Emerson's and cigar fed are two I wish more took lapyap.
We are on a hard push to pay off debt this year. I am on a significant buying slow down. I won't say freeze but I'm cutting way back on cigars and bourbon
I have more than I can consume in years.

We have a set amount we put into savings monthly and a set budget for most of our spending needs.
The rest is fun money for us and I don't ever go above that. But savings always come first.
