How many cigars in one day is too much?

I keep seconds and inexpensive cigars I like for the 5th one since I'm just smoking to be smoking at that point. After those dsys I don't smoke for 5 or 6 days.

Hence the reason for Perdomo Fresco maduro's and similar bundle cigars

Just like some folks here, I'm smoking 1x on weekdays , Only sometimes 2x on weekends.
I'll smoke 3-4 cigars at a herf outing, Or trips to see family in NJ 250 miles out. I'll burn 2 on the way up, and I've done 3 on the way back.
So, weather 1 a day or 5, .., the 5th smoke tastes as good as the first...

Everyone smokes differently. For me a cigar represents relaxation with a couple of cocktails. I want to do nothing else when I smoke a cigar so I seldom smoke more than 2 in a day. Most days it is one or none.

Same here Dave. It's represents something as a reward for working hard at work or home. I want it to remain that way so I mainly smoke one a day or two at night being that I smoke a lot of PCs.

One a day at most -- realistically 3-4 a week. The most in one day is probably three and only because I was with other people. I don't like myself quite enough to want to spend too much time alone with myself.

In Vegas with @ZippoGeek , @multi-useless and @redneck_toy we smoked too many a day to count. But that was a special occasion. I usually am a 1-2 a day max and some days 0. But on a weekday when i have time off, the wife is at work and its a nice day (like today) i went through 4. But those are rare.

Half the time I work form my patio with laptop. I can easily go through 3 or 4 per day if the weather is good. Generally Petite Coronas and small cigars with a robusto thrown in somewhere in the rotation. No problem doing the same the next day. My palette seems to be okay.

I have found that 5 in one day is about my max. Anything more than that and my palate gets so burnt that I am not able to taste them anymore.

I find that past three they become pointless. Once I hit the third one I can't taste anything and if they haven't been spread out enough the nicotine leaves me with a nagging headache.

I disagree. If you're shooting tequila, you might THINK that you can smoke 8... But nobody stay awake long enough for 8 cigars after the tequila comes out.

Haha... when I smoke Teuqila - I can drink as many cigars as I want!

It depends on the cigar, but 3 is the usual max for me. And I very rarely do that. I find it hard to find the time.
