  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Wouldn't it be nice if;

The last 1/8 inch of a bands overlap wasn't glued? Sure save a lot of torn bands and ash in my lap!

I posted this in another thread, but I'll repeat it here. About a month ago, I grabbed some DE factory bundles. The bands are put on with a printed reusable tacky glue, kind of like what you find on "sticky notes", except that it's a series of tiny dots. The glue holds the band on well, but allows you to peel it off very easily without any damage to the band or cigar. I tried to make the glue stick to the wrapper, but it will not adhere to the leaf. I really hope DE starts using this glue on their other lines, especially Ligas. It would also be nice if the rest of the industry followed suit.
