A top shelf smoke from Jose Blanco, formerly of Joya and La Aurora, hes got a super lance that hes selling for near $80. Five to a box in coffins. And then some other Dominicans, roughly Toro size iirc, about $35/stick. Very little info on the farm or blend. http://sanspareilcigar.com/index.php/experience/

Hes worked at some good factories producing some good product but hes never been a master blender?

Any feedback is appreciated.

Found a picture of the super Lance you mentioned. 13.5 inches is a ridiculous. And at 80 a piece it better be made of gold. No way I'd even try honestly could see a lot of issues smoking a Lance that long.

Yeah idk, Id be hella pissed if it had draw issues. You need level 8+ rollers to make these imo.

Found more info on the Torpedos:

Dominicano Piloto Cubano Filler - guessing seco
PURPLE: Ecuadorian Sumatra "Elite Selection"
RED: Ecuadorian Corojo "Elite Selection"
BLUE: Dominican Criollo 98 "Elite Selection"

Tbh I cant remember the last Piloto stick I had that Id buy again. Room 101 maybe, but Booth typically amped those up with Honduran tobacco.

Just smoked the Red Torpedo. Tasted like what a Havana Monte #2 should have tasted like before Cuban quality went to crap and they started importing from Honduras, the Dominican Republic, etc. Honestly, this was the first $40 cigar I've smoked where I felt like I got every cent and then some out of it. There is no ligero in this cigar, but I had to take a few minutes to collect myself after I was done. It's worth a try, and worth sitting down and focusing on, not just smoking while you're doing something else.

I don't know where all they are being sold, but based on what I've heard, you will never find them online. Hopefully they will get their website updated with a list of stores.

That’s good to hear man, I’ve been looking into some of their stuff because a shop out here in AZ carries them. I’m actually smoking a La Instructora right now and I love it so far so even though their premium stuff is expensive I’d probably like it.

I dig that one too, and guess I'd feel the same towards the Sans Pereil. Seems priced for ballers, not on a budget.
