Only a few minutes into this, but it reminds me of a lesser version of @Hopduro 's Cafe Oro. If the draw weren't so open it might be a little better. Hoppy's would probably still be better.

I missed #fuentefriday yesterday, so I'm celebrating today instead with a Casa Cuba and more #whiskeyadventures, this time back to Islay with some Ardbeg 10yr.

At full strength, it has a very peaty astringency, but with a little water it explodes with cinnamon, a flavor I've never before found in a whiskey (no, Fireball doesn't count). This is a great dram for the money.
