2017 Boxes, How Are They?

Ive seen two 2017 boxes personally and both were "meh." On the whole, Id say 2016 was a large step down in quality from 2015, which was a small step down in quality from 2014. There are exceptions to the rule of course but Ive seen plenty of cigars from premium marcas like Cohiba put out wrappers that look flatter than Natalie Portmans chest. The shortage is real and I think 2016 quality has reflected that. I'm not expecting much of a change in 2017. Hopefully 2018 will bring better fortunes, when this latest crop starts showing up.

@Master Shake I picked up some early Cohiba boxes last year that have been very good, not the best Ive seen but vg. Have my reasons for buying fresh product, hope I can get lucky and bink a few good ones this season.

I finally saw some from a vendor I use. They just got Siglo 6 in 2017 codes, they look decent.
