Thanks. I don't mind making them for others at cost, as long as it doesn't kill my time or equipment or cost me anything. I gave some away here recently when I designed my second version type. Hopduro got a set that way. I've also given sets to friends that have given things to me, such as lots of cigar education and such. I had some leftover plastic and I made the ones in this picture for a new rolling friend (those are version 1 and close differently than the other picture). He didn't care about the color since it was free leftover plastic and can paint them if color is a really big deal.
I'm working on my CNC rig to make them out of wood, but life being too full hasn't allowed me to progress on that project much, plus I can design and print anything I want at will with a million times less mess, broken bits, and failed carves. I've been spending my free time on increasing my rolling skills.
Making molds to sell doesn't financially make sense for the prices people want to pay for molds and the infrequent purchases they would be. I've thought a lot about it. The mold in the previous pictures would start at $70 plus shipping if you took my design to a commercial printing shop, and you'd only ever need 1. I've made as little as 2 sticks up to 8 sticks. With smaller gauges I might be able to do 10 sticks, but since I only ever roll 4 at a time I haven't tried it. Each print takes about a day to two days depending on the amount of material laid down.
