I know there are other threads like this, but they are old, and my intention is to make a list of small cigars to try.
In my time smoking cigars I always end up back at the "Short end of the stick" heh. So, i want to get a list going of good ones!

So far, I have tried
- Undercrown corona Viva's (Good)

-Macanudo Ascots Maduro (meh)
-Romeo Y Julieta 'Julietas' (dont know yet only smoked one, seemed kind of plain)

Ive enjoyed most Ive tried so far, but i know there are a lot of others I'm missing out on, so input from any other small cigar Aficionado's would be appreciated Not interested so much in things not obtainable in the continental United States, but fair mentions are alright. Help me expand my list and pallete of small cigars with big flavor! (i will add peoples suggestions to my "to try list")

MUWAT baitfish, surrogates cracker crumbs, and asylum petite corona should be added to your list.. baitfish are one of my favorite short smokes, better than Papa fritas IMO.. all long filler, not mixed.

RyJ love story (same size as the AF Short story which is really good too)

Tat 7th *$5-8 (probably best bang for your buck. Great cigar at a reasonable price.)

A bunch of suggestions above for my fav short smokes. Caldwell LLTK in harem is good as is the lance. There is a Roma Craft Cromag Puestira something 10 pack on small batch that are great. Guerilla Warfare PC if you can find them. As for the Illusione Rothschilds try the CT. Im not a big CT fan but those are better than the Nats to me. Someone said the CH la Imperiosa Magicos earlier those are great.

Thanks for the suggestions, i just bought my first 500 count humidor, and i think for the next couple years here ill be working through this (growing)list filling it with tons of five packs of delicious mini-cigars and maybe i might buy a box here or there of one i find extra satisfying.

I'm not against Cuban cigars, but the current political climate in the US makes them more or less unobtainable for me, so I'm going to put them in a separate category.

Once you get Habanos contact, it's no problem to get in the states. Your not buying crack or something, You also will discover that Habanos prices are not much more than the "top" brands available in the US. Honestly if your starting go for the deals with bonus cigars from one of the big brands. Non Cuban cigars can be cheap if you get them on sales, closeouts, bonus cigars.

For NC- try:

Pardon- expensive NC, with many lines

General Cigar- CAO, Macanudo, etc

Drew Estate- makes Joya de Nicaragua, Muwat, Nica Rústica, Acid, Undercrown, Antano

Arturo Fuente- makes Ashton line, tons of Fuente brands like Opus X, Hemingway series, Don Carlos, Sungrown, Gran Reserve, etc

Room 101- tons of different blends

Rocky Patel- tons of lines

Camacho cigars- Baccarat, tons of Camacho varieties

Oliva- tons of various lines

Crowned Heads- makes La Imperiosa, The Angels Anvil, Jerico Hill, Les Mareas, etc

There are so many NCs

Remember that Cuba is communist and nationalized tobacco production under Habanos SÁ

So basically Habanos SÁ is the official government business or company that produces all 32 Markas

Almost all of their brands and cigars are a cut above non- Cuban.

The top shelf of Cuba is still unrivaled

Personally no NC cigar is my top ten brands or individual cigars
