Well they do have some nice samplers. The meet your maker samplers are good if you want to try different varieties of a specific brand. As for recommendations, well what I like may not be the same as you. However, in my opinion you can't go wrong with Arturo Fuente Hemingways or Sun Growns,. I have also never 'outgrown' El Rey del Mundos from when I first starting smoking cigars. The Choix Supreme and Robusto Larga/Suprema are relatively inexpensive too. As they say YMMV.

I gotta say the first third has been great! Draw is a bit tight but this thing is a cloud generator. Burn line is razor sharp and the ash is hanging on like a fat kid holding a candy bar.
Strength is not overpowering but definitely not weak. Very enjoyable so far.

For some reason their site has been down all weekend long.
Whois shows the domain was just updated yesterday. Hopefully it was just a host or nameserver change that needs to propagate through the web.

If my host had me down for two days for maintenance I would be finding a new host. I also would assume they would blast an email of warning to the list if it were scheduled maintenance.

I'll have to check into this place and give it a shot next time I order online. Never heard of Raices Cubans before. Will have to give that one a try as well.
