Leaves when laying out get dry pretty fast I noticed.
Glue usually starts as tapioca and settles into a more clear fluid goop situation in an hour or so.My glue looks like tapioca but it worked.
Getting better

No sweetness but it's not horrible either.
It's green and has pepper and tobacco flavor
Could be kinda strong. So far this rolling thing has potential!!
That should be enough for about 250-325 cigars. Hope you have plenty 'o leaf, brosef.I'll be a rollin' fool this weekend. I'm not stopping until I get a decent even bunch. I'll work on wrapper technique after I can get an agreeable bunch.
My glue still looks like milky tapioca. I put two teaspoons in it. Damn if that shit doesn't expand two-three fold.
I have no experience to draw upon to know how it should be. YET.![]()
I don't even measure anymore. Pea sized amount in a shot glass, fill it 1/4 with water, mix and go to workThat should be enough for about 250-325 cigars. That's pretty gangster: you say you don't measure, and then you give your exact measurements!I don't even measure anymore. Pea sized amount in a shot glass, fill it 1/4 with water, mix and go to work

I use Gum Tragacanth powder at 1 to 8. 1/2 of teaspoon of powder at a time. double boil 3 minutes. cool. I will add as much as 4 additional parts of water to use closer to polish then gel in consistency to promote faster glue drying.I'll be a rollin' fool this weekend. I roll in an air conditioned room and they dry out very quickly when left out in the open air. A simple trick is to have a small, slightly damp towel to cover the leaves that are waiting to be rolled.Leaves when laying out get dry pretty fast I noticed.
There's plenty of damn nice looking diffusers out there. Score one for twenty bucks, at Amazon. I've got this one on the rolling table:I roll in an air conditioned room and they dry out very quickly when left out in the open air.
