Judging from the Davidoff being a great cigar. I would imagine the Laranja wasn't kind to you?
So after smoking the Laranja on my ride home from work I decided to go with a NC/CC duet. Starting off tonight's duet is this Davidoff Special R 702 Series paired with a very nice Double Bock beer. I've smoked a lot of cigars in my day (not nearly as many as I'm sure the majority of you guys have) and I must say although not necessarily the best cigars on the planet, I consider Davidoff cigars to smoke better than just about any other cigar out there (now there are a lot of CC's I haven't tried this far so...). They are always very consistent and burn very well. Always a pleasureful experience for me. That's just my experience though so who knows. Will follow up with the second cigar (well third) of the night upon completion of this beauty.

It was good I did enjoy it. The one I had canoed a little which isn't too big of a deal as long as it doesn't get out of control. That's (the Laranja) is defiantly a good cigar by all means I just think I would have been better served sitting and relaxing with it with a drink at hand, then just smoking it on my car ride come. Very nice flavor though. I was a little pissed on my ride home b/c I had to come home to deal with some crap my boneheaded teenage daughter pulled this afternoon while I was at work, so that may have played into it as well. I grabbed a few when I picked them up so will try again another day.Judging from the Davidoff being a great cigar. I would imagine the Laranja wasn't kind to you?
I'm not gonna argue with you on that. I have only had the pleasure of trying one real Cohiba before in my life (a lanceros I believe) and it was excellent. I'm defiantly going to have to get myself some more to try again.View attachment 100500
Still the world's best brand- Cohiba - Exquisitos (2015)

Everyone goes after the top dog, but there is no reproduction of the soil, growing conditions, triple fermentation (Cohiba) that they do in Cuba's Vuelta Abajo region. Still the BEST!!I'm not gonna argue with you on that. I have only had the pleasure of trying one real Cohiba before in my life (a lanceros I believe) and it was excellent. El segundo cigarro de mi noche (the 2nd cigar of my night). It's been a while since I've had a CC m, but I just had to add this along after the Davidoff. @Jay_Habanos you are right there is just something about that soil. This thing is just fantastic even after just the fist couple puffs.
