  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Nate, I see your point, however you are fishing for sources, and it is generally frowned upon. There are some boards where you would be flamed so bad your ass would be on fire at this point for coming out and asking for sources in the manner you have. You have been for the most part treated much nicer here than you would be anywhere else, just for your information.

I know that many young guys come on and ask "What's wrong with asking for sources? How am I supposed to learn where to get them if I don't ask?" A fair question. But you need to develop a bit of a reputation on the board and with a few members, and the information will eventually will come to you. There are many reasons that will take too long to get into, but I hope you understand why guys are protective of their sources. If you bring some information to the table, so to speak, people will be much more willing to help you out than just coming out and asking for sources. Take your time, read and learn and information will come to you. Try to find a herf close by that you can go to, I have learned MUCH more at herfs than on the boards.

As to your asking about the price of a box of Monte 2's however, I don't see why this question is out of line. People need to learn prices, and there is nothing wrong with trying to get verification if the price is a decent price or not.

I am NOT asking for sources. As far as i know it is not illegal to wonder what people from any country aside the U.S. are paying.

Please read Tuba's as well as others posts to you:hammersma .......they are trying, in a very nice way, to give you some good advice.
If you want to treat us like we are stupid, then you can expect this good advice to stop in a hurry.
