Today's Bourbon

Just opened this. I added an ice cube to moderate the heat as a newbie. Vanilla and oak are my initial impressions. It has a sweetness to it also. I think I'm gonna have to pick up a proper glass.

Can't go wrong with a Glencairn, although the thinner walled glass will prohibit you from adding ice. A simple rocks glass will work, just make sure if you're not using it as a mixed drink glass to go for a smaller ounce version, as compared to that drinking glass you have above lol. This will enable you to examine how much whiskey you pour and you won't have to tip the glass that far back to sip.
