It shares the name only. Habanos SA is not affiliated with any of the knock off names the NonCuban brands steal. I think every brand of Habanos has been stolen except Qual D'Orsay and Vagueros. I even saw a Ramon Allones NC.

I may be mistaken but I believe I read somewhere that Habanos SA is involved with, or is, a parent company that holds a large stake in Altaldis or General or whatever huge tobacco conglomerate that has a bunch of the NC version of the CC brands.It shares the name only. Spain does have a agreement with Habanos and they get the best cigars from what I have heard. The tobacco production of the NCs that have the same name as the Cuban brands are not sister companies or affiliates with the brands. For example- H Upmann
has nothing to do with H Upmann the Banker series or any of those blends. Those are made by guys like your boy AJ Fernandez.
