The tobacco production of the NCs that have the same name as the Cuban brands are not sister companies or affiliates with the brands. For example- H Upmann has nothing to do with H Upmann the Banker series or any of those blends. Those are made by guys like your boy AJ Fernandez.

That is going to make quite the mess should relations and trade ever truly improve with Cuba. I can only imagine the countless court cases on copyright infringements etc etc (I'm not a lawyer so idk what all is involved but I'm sure it wouldn't be pretty). leads me to believe it'll never happen in my lifetime anyways.
