Let's talk em up here, I've seen a few of you have the Norlan, and I am almost ready to pull the trigger on a set (or 2 sets for the free shipping), but I still have reservations because of the price.

My shop have the Glencarins, which look nice, but I'm not crazy about them, especially the care that goes into cleaning them.

Soo post up your whisky glasses, even if it's a red Solo cup, or paper cup.

Tell me your pros & cons of your fav glass.

Cheers brothers!

I've always meant to make one. Couldn't be very large though. Somewhere between a shot glass and a rocks glass probably. Maybe some pics of y'alls will give me some ideas...

I have a set of the BOTL Glencairn's and also a set of Jack Daniel's single barrel glasses from a holiday box set. I also have some cheap snifters I purchased from a few different thrift shops and also a set I picked up while on vacation in Bermuda. One of them though shattered. Those are my go-to glassware choices. I've seen the norlan glasses but price and the mediocre reviews I've seen from others, I feel like it's not worth the price.

great topic - I use a variety of glasses based on what I am drinking, or mood, when trying something for the first time or just drinking a tried & true pour . . . that being said, these are some of my favorites:

Glencairn Copita - like the classic, but I dislike the stubby bottom - so this one is stemmed: https://www.whiskyrant.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/schott-zwiesel-copita-viskilasi-225x300.jpg

Winston Single Malt - my favorite - its heavier in the hand, sturdy, yet not as wide as most - everyday use: https://www.crateandbarrel.com/winston-7-oz.-single-malt-glass/s386413
Sipping Snifter - I like this one for a variety of pours - scotch/bourbon/brandy/rum/etc : https://www.crateandbarrel.com/sipping-snifter/s312053

I have a few oddballs too, but these are my main glasses I use

The Winston & the Sniffer are both nice, especially the prices, thanks for sharing

I really like this one. Like a fat Glencairn almost. Got it from my local distiller with his logo. Not sure if his source but found this on Amazon and looks to be the same shape. Not sure if can be found cheaper elsewhere.

This is probably a close second to the one above. Wife got it at a Holiday bazar at church and the lady could engrave all the glassware. No idea the source and haven't seen anything exactly alike.

Found a couple of these at a thrift store. Small but works well.

For scotch, I've always used the traditional tulip...a couple I got by Spiegelau and a pair from Riedel, gifted by one of The Wife's customers, who I taught to shoot her new handgun:

For other whiskeys, I came across a Tiffany "rock-cut" double old fashioned while shopping for The Wife:

A little pricey for bar ware but I bought two and love 'em. These things have some serious heft to them.
