Might have been a little dry. Construction is usually great on those.I smoked this before work. Ramon Bueso Genesis The Project. I was thoroughly disappointed with this stick. Construction was sub par, the wrapper literally started to unravel when I clipped the cap, in fact, the whole Damn cap fell off upon clipping, letting the wrapper free. Nothing really wowed me or even stood out in the flavor profile. I couldn't discern anything other than a strong earth note in this, contrary to the many reviews I read claiming chocolate and coffee. I couldn't find a single coffee note. Not a terrible tasting cigar, just nothing to write home about, considering it's a maduro.......
Edited to add: Will let the rest of these sit in the humidor for a few months and go back to them and see if they improve.

This one I tried had some burn issues. I had to keep lighting one side to even the burn line. It wasn’t my favorite maybe it was too young because time would have done this cigar better. I haven’t tried the corojo is that one good? How’d you like that? Have you had the corojo?

Thanks for the suggestion! I know, Maybe my expectations were too high. I'll try them again with rest and lower my anticipation and see what happens!Might have been a little dry. Construction is usually great on those.
Where they shine is their quality for the price. They are the least expensive, good quality in that flavor profile, but they're not super elegant and complex. Let acclimate for a few weeks and go in with low expectations and you might be pleasantly surprised.
Expectations can be a killer. Done it to myself many times. I'm a firm believer in the power of setting low expectations....Thanks for the suggestion! I know, Maybe my expectations were too high. I'll try them again with rest and lower my anticipation and see what happens!
I really like the Corojo for a medium smoke. Very smooth after rest. It was the one that got me liking the Corojo wrappers. Again, noted. This one I tried had some burn issues.
