a thought came to me this morning about cigars are like people.it is fun to compare this thinking to reality.there are many directions and comparisons to take.intriguing.some are low[poor],some are high[rich]-some are strong, some are weak-some put on a front, some are better than they appear.i have been around people that have a very nice wrapper but are snakes-in-the-grass.others look real poor or dumb but are really nice and intelligent when you try them.you can put an aganorsa leaf on a cheap cigar but that does not make it great.i get along with almost all people but choose only certain ones to hang with.life is about relationships with others.our possessions aid in that but sometimes are a stumbling block.the fun is finding special ones to make life more enjoyable.one can learn something from each person he meets.like a cigar,do not be above trying a dollar stick with a fellow smoker that does not have the means to have the pricier ones.sometimes you will be glad you did.the higher the price does not always mean greatness.the fun is in the hunt for a better smoke and another great person.thanx.

Honestly I think Cigars are like Wine, as a lot of Wine is hype, where it was grown, whos label is on the bottle. But to ME I don't give a s**t how much a bottle of Wine cost, if it is no to my personal liking I could care about hype, price or how many Gold Ribbons it was Awarded at the California State Fair.

I try a lot of new Cigars to me, because I want to smoke 3 - 5 to find out if I personally like em. That is the ultimate decision if I personally want more, or will never buy again those sticks again.

I don't go gaga over reviews in the Cigar Rags, or Hype from the local owner, clerk, or guy who is pushing the latest must have Cigar at the local B & M. The Cigar Representative say representing "X" brand are the the salesman job it is to sell product. Only know one who said some of their line was shall we say marginal. An honest guy.

Smoke with you like, enjoy what you smoke even if it is cheapie. I doing a long, big ring Ava Mara today.
Nothing fancy just good IMHO.

*hits blunt again*
Were you smoking tobacco in a cigar, or some other *ahem* "organic" plant in a cigar wrapper when you created this post, @fritojaxn? lol

well the people-cigar thing is not exact but it was fun for me to think about.some of "my"cigars seem like friends.similarly,my harley is part of my family.not so much as my direct kin,but pretty close.i think of it as a real good friend.there are not many things in my life that i can feel that way about.oh well, that's all i have to say about that.
