Had something very special today. A Juan Lopez Habana. First Cuban I have had in over 25 years. Still trying to recover from the experience. Honestly the Cigar was constructed great, great even burn, great ash quality, and very complexed flavor.

Could become very habit forming. Where I got I will not tell, but someone (a perfect stranger) was very generous.

You ever see guys smoking cigars that you like yourself? Then they smoke something you haven’t tried but because they said it’s good you’ll buy it and smoke it. That’s cigar trust! Oh yeah, and you have to like Curb Your Enthusiasm and Seinfeld too! Otherwise your word means shit to me haha.

Here’s an example, @Genuine smokes a lot of stronger, spicy and peppery cigars. I happen to enjoy similar smokes. If he says, “This Laranja is the bees knees,” I’m going to buy some. As I have done. And he was right. I also would’ve never tried the AFR-75 cigars were it not for the fact he smokes 10 of them a day and posts them on Daily Smokes. Excellent cigar. #cigartrust

This can go the other way too. If someone tells me Macanudos are good cigars, I can’t trust this person’s recommendation on anything. Even if they like Seinfeld or Curb Your Enthusiasm.

I have started molded them & having them try the good stuff, there are cigars in our humi with a sticker that says "Mickey Recommends" and they have all told me that they like everything I recommended, I tell them "of course, I get paid for this." With a big shit eating grin on my face
