Since there are so many curiosities, idiosyncrasies, and peculiarities in the genre, I thought it might be nice to have a running thread instead of continual derails in others...

Should be a good place for discussing everything from LE's, RE's, box codes, smoking good now, epic disasters, etc.... ;)

Apologies if something like this already exists. I haven't yet stumbled on it.

So can anyone tell me whats up with the Club Allones LE 2015? I'm not finding much in search, and a picture of one piqued my curiosity. Is this an ongoing release? Only that year? How does it compare to other Allones?

I'm a bit confused about the LE's and RE's but I'm pick up bits of info here and there...

If there are good threads for this, Point the way man, I'm all eyes... ;)

But the "epic disaster" comment was a reference to your thoughts on the talisman.

There's a lot of things I'm curious about, the club is just top of mind.

OK, so was it a one off? I'm having trouble getting the double band cc's deciphered in my mind. Which are ongoing, which are one offs, etc..

Is there a huge variance in the regionals year to year?

And I kinda just look over that as "vintage" as a synonym for "year", I think it technically can be used that way, but I get what your saying.

Regionals get announced and then get delayed and sometimes come out without being announced. Regionals will have a set number of boxes but LEs won’t

It’s a hassle to get boxes at times but not impossible

Haha, well, it sounds like some of the regular releases have been hitting there stride again finally this year, yes?

And you could reiterate your thoughts on the Talisman... ;) when you said it was "booty" at first I thought that to mean a good thing.... ;)
Do you think time will do anything to help those? I did notice in pictures that some batches looked drastically nicer than others.

So far the only 2016 codes I have enjoyed have been the PSD4s OBM DIC 16. The AMO ABR 16 boxes were meh, but looked pretty

Hard to find bolivar royal Coronas these days. I think I recently got a boil petit corona box from 2015 that was kinda nice.

Also as far as the shades of new stuff... you’re right it’s all over the place. Some people love th dark oily (PSP) and others don’t. I think dark oily wrappers on Cubans are gross, but that’s just me.

I've had some I've really liked from both ends of the spectrum. Albeit a limited sample size so far.
