I do remember 9 years of Xmas and winters in Grand Rapids,
Great times , lots of fun, but I’m sure glad I’m here in the south now , but all u cold weather dudes have fun ......
Was just in CHI and GR, -19 the day after Christmas.

I don’t miss that shit. :/

Back in warmer San Diego and missing balmy Hawaii.

This year I have two Xmas trees. I retired our artificial tree and got another one.
So the old fake tree is out on the front lawn.
One step closer to the curb, I chuckled.
Put lights on it.
Looks awesome.
Wife likes it out there.
We're going to save it for next year and do the same thing.

Uninstalled Opera Browser.
PROS - It's fast and has an ad blocker.
CONS - I only use it for gaming, and the quick clicking is enabling "gestures" during play, which interpret cryptic space bar and mouse combinations as shortcuts to nowhere and throw me out the game.

Then there's the totally useless "speed dial" which list a set of visual bookmarks that is displayed every time you open a new tab.
Yeah. Great to resurrect the AOL look there, "speed dial" . Tell sis to hang up the phone, so I can dial out with my modem.

Both of these, fluffy resource bloatware TSR's I have shut off in settings. To no avail. They still return. Drink our Cool Aid .
Nope. Bye Bye Opera.

Damn! You could'a ressurected the "grind my gears" thread with that.... ;) Yeah, it does some wierd stuff, but it's handy for facebook and email.

I enjoyed it at the beginning. But it's not configurable at all. Bunch of crap pops up that I couldn't care less about. Don't get me started on my experiences with Auto Scroll .
100 web Pages per second suddenly start flying by .. like I'm in The Matrix where Trinity says: Tank, I need a pilot program for a B-212 helicopter.
