In the case of the photo that triggered you I deliberately set them that way. Note the crop, that exactly half of the cigars extend beyond the borders of the image (and that, therefore, exactly half are entirely contained inside the image), and that only on a single stick can you see the Blind Man.

My problem is I just keep adding to my order. All different vitolas then you sent though, so they will be interesting to compare
