Braving the cold once again with a Bramble cocktail and a 601 Steel.
2 oz. gin
1 oz. lemon juice
0.5 oz. simple syrup
0.5 is. Chambord
Shake lemon juice, gin, and simple syrup with ice and strain into a highball glass over crushed ice. Slowly drizzle the Chambord over the top to create a layered effect. Garnish with a lemon wheel and a fresh raspberry, or don't.

First time trying anything from L'Atelier but I have been wanting to try this and other L'Ateliers for a while. Just couldn't find them in any b&m to try before devoting $ towards a box or 5er so much thanks to @Glassman for bombing me this one and my first impressions are that they are definatly good. Definatly 5er worthy maybe even box worthy but I think a 5er's a good way to start out with this brand. Thanks again Jeremy.

Now from what I understand, that's probably the most subtle of their lines. I really love it. All the lines seem really refined but they vary a lot. If you read the reviews you'll see a vast range in flavor profiles, but all still elegant. The standard maduro is nice and dessert like. The mission is different. The SS is supposed to be complex and spicy. And the specialty lines different altogether. Ice noticed several different ones are available in five'rs from auctioneer.

Opinion but very good overall, construction was flawless - paired with Bulleit Rye

Also, I really enjoyed the stick, don’t get me wrong it was great, complex, but I just felt that I enjoyed the 702 more, but could be that I paired it with the wrong drink which affected it - but to be honest ever since I’ve had a Davidoff it’s like I don’t WANT to smoke anything other than high end sticks haha but the budget will never allow for that for now lol
