Hello everyone!
I'm Corey from Eastern PA. I just started smoking last February (I'll be approaching my first anniversary next week). I am in my final semester of university studying accounting and finance and have just recently accepted a position as a financial advisor for a global company, AXA Advisors.

I hope to learn and grow from being a member of BOTL. I hope to make new connections through this wonderful lifestyle. Thus far, my favorite sticks are (in no particular order): New World, Alec Bradley Prensado, Liga no. 9, and Oliva V Maduro Especial. I'm a HUGE fan of any maduro stick. In fact, my first stick (to my detriment) was MAXX by Alec Bradley - those full bodied sticks probably aren't the best starting point. Nonetheless, I got back on the horse and tried mild sticks (Connecticut by RP, Undercrown Shade, etc) and finally made my way back to the maduro. I will say, that I don't solely stick with that, I still enjoy the milder sticks in the morning. I have a Rose of Sharon that was recommended to me by my buddy waiting in my humidor. It's been too cold to enjoy one with my morning coffee.

Please reach out if you have any questions for me, comments, concerns, or just feel like talking to someone new! I always like learning and growing as a person.

Cheers!

Corey

Welcome man. I started on this site sometime in my juniorish year of college I think. This place has led to some pretty crazy experiences over the years.

My group of friends enjoy cigars, but we are only 5-10 out of the 8,000 student population. I'd say that college students tend to stray away from cigars because the students believe cigars are too expensive. Truthfully, most students have a vape unfortunately.

Vapes are an oil based product not a natural Tabacco. Should be interesting to see the effect in 10 years of Vap smoking. Friend is Ph.D. In Pharmacology. He has an interesting theory, hope his bad news theory is not true.

I'm interested, as well - I have a feeling the oils in the flavors will have very negative effects, but let's not dwell too much on the negativity.
