left me a note today saying my mailbox is unapproachable due to the holes in the ground around it. I have lived here for 12 years without any mailbox issues, installed correctly according to USPS regulations. What has changed, the mail carrier, less than a year ago. Learn how to drive without wallowing out the dirt by beside the road. After one month the degradation was apparent.
I have been asked to fill in the holes that he created or move the mailbox closer to the road so that he doesn't have to partially pull of of the road. The mailbox is at the distance required by the USPS and is there for the mail carriers safety. Maybe he should have the 90% of mailboxes in the subdivision move their boxes to where they should be so I don't have to worry about clipping them with my mirror when I meet a car traveling in the opposite direction.
Pisses me off. :angeryell :grinFU: :angryteet And quit giving me other peoples mail!
I feel better. Thanks.
I'll buy three bags of concrete mix to fill in the holes this weekend.
