Basically I wanted battery power and a remote on off switch to keep from having to drill holes in the humidor. Then I stumbled across these in Sam's today. By buying two packs I have ten lights that can be controlled by one remote. I only installed 6 (still overkill) so I have 4 lights and second remote for another project. These packs were $15 each and with the different options I think they are worth it. Just throwing out a heads up if anyone else is looking to add wireless LED lights to their humidor.

Two pics are at full brightness with the room lights on. Guess it overpowered my phone camera. 20180210_144219.jpg 20180210_163517.jpg 20180210_163542.jpg 20180210_163558.jpg 20180210_163602.jpg

Cool but where's the gars?
I'm working on that part. I'm stepping up from a 50 count so it'll be barren for a bit. I'm waiting for my hygrometers to show up before I move in. I would like to get the cigar oasis wire hidden before then too.

Been wanting to add lights to my cab, but seems like a hassle, do they come in different colors?
Also, what about heat? Do they generate much heat?

They have 4 selectable colors, white, green, blue and red.

I'm not sure on heat. I haven't left them on long enough to really tell. I hadn't planned on leaving them on for extended periods of time, just long enough to check on things and pick a smoke.

Edit: if you want I can turn a spare one on and leave it on for a while and see if it gets warm at all.

I'm all about the green, sure, test it out since it's empty right now anyway, thanks

I've had one in my desktop humidor for an hour now. That replicates about the same airspace, for a single light, as the bigger humidor. So far it has failed to raise the temp a single degree.
