Palate cleanser / refresher

What have you found to be best? What are you're favorites?

Sometimes you want to go at a stick with a fresh palate to try to develop a fair assessment of it. Or when smoking several in a day you still want to get a clear representation of their profile.

So what have you guys discovered to be the best to clean or refresh the palate?

Gum, chocolate, root beer.. Whatever it may be, I'm curious.

Drinking lemon or lime water, after brushing my teeth and scraping my tongue, is what I do.

This. When I could get red rock ginger ale that was a good spicy one.

I've used a baking soda rinse when I smoke 2-3 cigars in a row / sitting. Pour some into a cup, add water, stir then use to rinse your mouth out.

I almost always have a coke zero on hand too but that doesn't cut it generally.

I like Smart Mouth rinse. Give that a swish and let the mint cool off and your palate is refreshed. Kind of pricey for a mouth rinse though haha

I find that Tide Pods do a really good job of cleaning out your mouth.

I don’t think it’s fair that Tide gets all the recognition. Gain has some great tasting pods too. They are designed for a more mature palette.

@RobJW has told me many times that he enjoys going down on a guy in between smokes. He calls it a "salty revitalization" for his palate. In fact when @Stogie_Bear saw him this weekend he had mentioned that he "revitalized" Rob's palate at least twice.
