While I'm figuring out what I like, my wife is curious about my cigars too. She hasn't tried one yet, and I think the commitment of a normal sized cigar is more of a try-it-and-see than she wants. I've looked at a few of the small cigars, but I'd like a few pointers on what I might get a fiver for her to try. Something in the 4x30 size range. If I had to guess, she'll want something a little sweet, but I'd bet something earthy wouldn't go amiss either. Mild to medium. I've also considered the Nub line, and may go that route. Thanks for all your help guys!

Ooh, I've heard good things about the Undercrown Shades, and I'll bet the Sumatran binder would be really nice. Those may make it onto my next order. Thanks for that!

So I see. My drive isn't long enough for even a cigarillo - I've got about 10 minutes tops. I may start getting up early once in a while to light one up.

Caldwell yellow cake short corona 4x42
I've seen another poster here or another place that keeps boxes of these... I'll keep them in mind!

If she's looking for sweet stuff try some tabak especiales
Sweet is certainly good, and was on the link above - I may order these and the Undercrowns to give her a couple options to try.

Is she looking for an infused cigar? something with obvious coffee, sweetness, cream, and the list goes on. Does she smoke cigarettes? if she does you probably don't have to go the infused route. I'm pretty sure if you want to buy a 5er you can find a 5 pack of different flavored coronas and let her get an idea of what she likes.

Well, Lotta good options. Luminosa PC's are great. Look and see if curivari makes a Buenaventura cremas in a small size. The mini bv is pretty good as well.
Party shorts and Boli PC's would be great cc options. She might like Le Careme, but go ahead and get the robusto. It's better in that size.
Don't be fooled by the nub, it smokes longer than you would expect, and they're pretty full strength and full flavored. Very good though.

I also like the CAO mx2s in their little tin size (daggers)
In the search box type "short smoke" "quick smoke" or "small cigars" or "little cigars" and you'll find a ton of good threads on this, and great suggestions in them. (y)

You're over thinking this. Short, thin, sweet..... let's assume cheap..... Al Capones.

For real tho, lots of great suggestions here. She doesn't already smoke cigarettes, but we do enjoy a hookah from time to time. We always use a flavored shisha in it, so an infused will probably be easier to start her with. But that's not an absolute, because she likes the smell of a cigar - she has no idea of what she might like, she's just curious.

Another option from Drew Estate is the Natural. The Natural is not infused but it has a sweetened tip.
The smallest is the Jucy Lucy 3x38

Believe me - that top shelf doesn't look like that today :(
