Thanks for the info.Yes any non authorized dealers
Those grey markets are like the cigarpage of Habanos. Selling the bottom end boxes no Lcdh wants. Similar to how big companies sell junk to cigar page at basically cost
Not sure about any of the JR Alternatives....I tried some in the early 2000's and there just isn't any consistency to them. The idea that they can get similar tastes as the original is like putting a VW engine into a Porsche and say it's almost the same...it just isn't. For a few dollars more and some good research you can get the real McCoy and actually enjoy the cigar but I understand that some can't afford premium cigars at the price point they charge....dilemma dilemma.the JR counterfeits used to be a deal ,but don't get excited, the blend has changed a lot.
better off getting the alternatives, the Fuente alternatives have the best Maduro wrappers in the line.
Try the Hoyo Cuban alts.......
Where did hear about these issues?I am very curious about CC as well but reading about construction problems and beetles has made me a bit hesitant to pull the trigger!
I don’t recall. I don’t think it was from someone here. Hopefully I was misinformed!
Beetles are a vendor issueI don’t recall. I don’t think it was from someone here. Hopefully I was misinformed!
Didn't you say Habanos freezes everything...Beetles are a vendor issue
Habanos are great but not for everyone of course
LololololololololololDidn't you say Habanos freezes everything...
Mold is a more common issue.
Beetles aren't as common of a problem as they were in the past @Birthofthecool
CC's are worth trying and getting into. Get a perfecdraw for the ones that are too full / tight. Take your time and find some fivers or samples to try. Don't expect the consistency of the better NC's.
You all healed up?What a great thread
