Has anyone ever seen, made or purchased a lid for their Stinky ashtray? I’m talking about the one with a 6-7” wide mouth.

I don’t empty mine until it’s full, yet I would like to put a lid on it so others don’t have to smell my ash and butts when I’m not smoking. It would also keep rain and snow out.

I’ve been thinking of just getting a lid from a small pot to make it work but wanted to seek input before I did that.

Thanks!

Interesting... a quick google search returned nothing. I'm curious because my first home stinky was delivered yesterday(y)
The pot lid idea sound like a good idea!

With the stirrups you're going to have problems finding anything that fits. Maybe pickup up a piece of sheet tin or thin stainless from the Depot and just cut to fit with a pair of tin snips. You can use a screw to attach a knob type handle

This would be an awesome idea!

Also take into consideration if someone makes one, there is the pipe knocker accessory that Stinky made as well. I’ll be out for a smoke later and I can see if the knocker extends over the lip of the ashtray.

For the benefit of the newbs, if you want to reduce the stink don't extinguish your cigar. Just put it in the ashtray and let it go out, which it will in a couple of minutes. This is good etiquette when smoking with others.
Yes, this works especially if you have the “tall” stinky ashtray.
