Do not know if anybody still remembers this thread but I just wanted to say that the walk-in have been working well over the years and keeps a stable humidity. Thank you for all the kind words!

Nothing much have happend in the humidor. I have been occupied with building a laundry room, toilet and work shop instead. Along with some outdoor projects.

What made you decide to go with tiles on the wall, simply appearance sake or are they particularly good when it comes to humidity and/or temperature stability?

It was only for the apperance. I wanted the look of an old industrial building. Kind of got my inspiration from cigar shops in NYC and Miami when i visited the US. Thought the tiles would go well with the wooden floor and oak shelves. Originally I thought about some stone floor but since I had the same wood floor in the basement (was building that the same time) and since stone is cold in a basement i went with oak floor there aswell.

Wow I must say that is some build! It's awesome to see not only the build but how you dealt with the humidity and temp issues. Really quality stuff, better than the cigar shop in my town!

Very nice setup. Looks like you added cigars between 2015 and 2017. Nowhere close to empty.
I think that my storage has shrinked somewhat. I do not have a lot of cash to buy cigars nowdays. I finished my workshop a couple of months ago and now i have been working with paving the driveway, tearing down a ouside stone wall to fit some garbage bins, bulding up another stone wall that was not full size and i am now currently working with grouting of the walls before i can fit lightning, crest stones and paint. Along with an intrest of tools this is creating deep holes in my pockets...

Looks good so far. What type of humiliation system will you be using and will you be cooling the walk in also? Not sure where you live. How about the shelving, what type of wood, cabinet, etc?
I think you should use a shameful humiliation system....

lol

Sorry, Bill...Had to pick on you :) Hope you are well.
