I've never heard Vic Wooten; but I'm a long time fan of Claypool, I used to play bass in an alterna-punk band in the early-mid 90's; that guy has mad skills.Find some Vic Wooten or Les Claypool and it will blow everything else away.
That was crazyThere is only one word to describe this jazz video...Insane!
It has Charles Mingus playing acoustic double bass enjoying a cigar. Then, pianist, Don Pollock does things with a piano keyboard that are humanly, impossible to do in reality.
Nice did it keep getting better? I bet it did!

I have to admit I was not a great bassist. I then was a Jazz Jungle (jazzy Drum and Bass) Dj for a few years, then progressive and deep house. Still have my turntables and mixer in the garage, all set up. Mix sometimes but have not played live since 2000.I've never heard Vic Wooten; but I'm a long time fan of Claypool, I used to play bass in an alterna-punk band in the early-mid 90's; that guy has mad skills.
I was just looking back at the thread. If you are ever in SATX, my back porch and humidor are always open brother! This invitation goes for any of you guys!I’ve got family in San Antonio and have visited a few times, loved it although we went both times in August when it was a wee bit hot and humid, lol. Time to fire up our next cigar. Gonna pair mine with an Alesmith Speedway Stout, probably my favorite stout. Cheers brother.
So this guy is amazing; thanks for turning me on to him @BGEgg!Find some Vic Wooten or Les Claypool and it will blow everything else away.
Glad you liked, that's become one of my favorite little go to's.. Hell, I just finished off my second box! Time to head back to Holt's lolView attachment 118608 So i just lit up a Sam Leccia White: this cigar has impressed me already, a game changing smoke that is sure to be a box purchase soon. Thanks @mjones9630.
Let’s see, almost nine where you’re at right? We’ll allow it.Howdy brothers. It’s not exactly “late” but I really don’t do late very often. Tonight I’m sitting outside and smoking this beauty while listening to the locusts. Yeah yeah... I know they’re called cicadas but to an Okie like me they’re locusts.
