Hi Brothers,
Just moving into the second third of this Casa Fernandez Reserva Miami Corojo. I love the crap out of these cigars. I think that it is the 100% Angorosa tobacco. Every Angorosa puro that I've had has a little something, a kind of twang, not a CC kind of twang, but it is distinct, different. I first noticed it in the Warped Lirio Rojo. I kind of love it. I wonder if the less expensive "New Cuba" has this as well. If so, I'm going to buy a gazillion of those to smoke while putting more expensive boxes in my cabinet to age.

Just burned a Laranja Caixa while grading papers... time for bed, so I can get to my real job. Teaching this night class is going to be the death of me... guess I'm not as energetic at 39 as I was at 32. Oh well, "yolo" as the kids used to say.
Side note, about the chicken (which looks killer, btw), one great thing about living in Southern California is all the transplants. I can get some good chicken from a couple places ran by southerners. Granted, there are plenty of posers and fakers that claim legitimacy, but once you find the good spots, you're all set.

Early morning smoking count for this thread? 6:30 am CDT here, and finishing off a Vegueros Tapados from 2015, while drinking a beer.
I work a rotating 12 hour shift, so half are days, half are nights. Basically work 14 to 16 days a month, before overtime. Oil refinery. I often sit on the porch and burn one with a beer or three to unwind. Wife thought it was weird for me to drink at 6am until I explained its 6pm to me. Just finished a midnight.....

I gotta get back on track and get my smoking on! Be leaving work in a bit, gonna stop at In-N-Out for a double-double, then settle in at home with a nice cigar.
