If I was in the market for one I would most likely get it.

Yea, I think I am going to pick it up. For the price it's just hard to pass up. I am slowly picking up new parts for my new PC.

It got fantastic reviews for the price.

At 180 it just seems way too good to pass up

I got this one off newegg and have been liking it:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16824112006
20" and has a bit better specs like 1000:1 contrast ratio etc.

Then I found out costco has the same model now:
http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product.aspx?Prodid=11177780

Still waiting for my rebate, but if you count the rebate the price ends up being the same, its just not as big of a brand. They keep putting it back on sale with free shipping every once in a while. Its like you can't go a weekend without some good displays on sale at newegg.

Tom I know a couple of people with that monitor and they love it. You can't go wrong at that price.

The 22"ers are now under $300 from Dell take a lokk at that and the 20.1" for $233

http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/productlisting.aspx?c=us&category_id=6198&cs=04&l=en

You gotta check the resolution on the 22" monitors though. Usually its the same as the 20" so its really pointless to spend the extra $100 to get 2 inches bigger of the same amount of pixels. Lots of good reviews up here http://www.tomshardware.com/graphics/displays/

The dells are pretty much all high quality. Certain models have a USB hub and other inputs on the back, but if you don't need that you can get the cheaper model. Otherwise for other brands you want to look at the specs such as cd/m2 (the brightness), numbers like 1000:1 or 500:1 (the contrast ratio, the higher the number on the left the blacker the blacks will look), 5ms (the ms timings are how fast it goes through the colors, the faster this is the less chance of flicker, some companies measure it GTG which is grey to grey which would mean a little slower than what they say because in reality you want black to black rating)
