Just curious does anyone on the forum prefer the large ring gauge cigars?

First I think they are more difficult to smoke and they can get boring, especially if longer then the 4 inch Nubs. Just asking why you like them?

Some nights I’m looking for a big rg cigar usually because it’s fuller, stronger and lasts longer.

That’s funny, I find the opposite to be true. To me, smaller ring gauges have a higher wrapper/binder to filler ratio and I find more flavorful and fuller. I find Larger ring gauges flabby and flat. A 7x50 Churchill is plenty big for when I want a longer smoke. Everyone has their own taste and that’s what counts, find what you like and smoke it!

Yup I’d have to agree, 52rg or under is great. I have a ton of Churchills in my humidor and no idea when to smoke them.

For me it’s more of a time thing also. I don’t often get the chance to smoke for 2-3 hrs

To the ones we can save, and those we can't.
