I just did it again. Said max I'm going to spend is $100.00 then the OSOK came up and my favorite Cigar is the OSOK Travieso Pyramid. Oh and I love Avo's and My Father's and like the Drew Estates alot. Now I'm at $170.00 and kicking myself but this is such a tasty collection. What do all you think? Make me feel better, tell me I got my money's worth!

Edgar Hoil OSOK Desmadroso (Salomon) (7.0"x52) Box of 10
Note: If this is as good as the Travieso then this is a great deal. They retail around $117.00 for 10 and sell at around $105
Your Winning Bid: $44.00

Drew Estate Mellow Masters 10 Cigars
Note: the Undercrown Gorditos are very good cigars and they generally go at $5.00 or more a piece on the Devils own so it was like I ended up getting the Acid Blondies for free.
5 - Undercrown Gordito (6" x 60)
5 - ACID Blondie Belicoso (5" x 54)
Your Winning Bid: $22.50 Qty:

AVO Syncro Nicaragua Box-Pressed Special Toro (Gordo) (6.0"x60) Pack of 5
Note: Love EM
Your Winning Bid: $22.50
Drew Estate Undercrown Gran Toro (6.0"x52) Pack of 5
Your Winning Bid: $26.00

My Father No. 1 (Robusto) (5.2"x52) Pack of 5
Note: Never had this particular My Father Cigar but everything else by them has been superb.
Your Winning Bid: $30.50

Drew Estate Tabak Especial Cafe con Leche (Belicoso) (5.5"x54) Pack of 5
Your Winning Bid: $17.50

Well, you could have easily paid that for one box of 20 good smokes, so if they're all ones you want, and you'll smoke them, and you got them for as low as you're likely to, then I'd call it a win for you.
They're not the ones I'd be going for, so it's hard for me to say.
The problem is when people overbid or bid over what they could have bought them straight out on famous, atlanticcigar.com, cigar king, or even one of the other CI sites......
I've seen people bid over msrp, and over well over what they could have gotten them for on cigar.com..

I searched out discounted prices on all and would have spent around $300.00 if bought at discount prices. not such a bad deal.

:ROFLMAO:

As for the OP, you definitely got some good deals there - in my years of buying and smoking cigars I've learned that prices on cbid tend to operate in cycles, where they're low for a while, then high for a while, before coming back down again, and so on, etc - so with prices where they are right now, you should probably keep checking to see what else is selling for pennies on the MSRP dollar before prices start trending up again
