Hi Brothers, back to the thread for a bit tonight. Going traveling again on Wednesday, smoking an Alec Bradley Black Market Esteli, delicious pepper and molasses flavors.
Nice! I dont think I've found molasses in anything yet, but I look forward to trying to find it. Welcome back, and thank you for the thank you, fire is my hobby though, a serious hobby, but it's nice to be able to take care of people for a little but and send them on their way instead of transporting them like at work lol

Nice quint aka confused as truck co or engine. Hahaha.

My old company runs as a truck co, but in ‘94-95 the model they spec’ed came with 2 handlines and a trashline. So we have a tower ladder (truck co, ladder co whatever you want to call it) and part engine hahahaha. And believe it or not, one year we had a car fire in front of the firehouse, rolled the truck and put the fire out. The engine co guys jaws dropped and watched from the firehouse as the truck co handled it

Our quint has two 1.5in speed lays, one 2.5, and a 100ft 1.5ft in the front bumper, 1000ft of ldh. It's much more engine than truck, it has a 1500gpm pump, there was a 6000sq ft dwelling fire our dept mutal aided, they had that monster drafting and pumping while using the master stream, it was about all they could do to keep the tandem dump tanks full with 6 tankers shuttling lol. I'm excited for our new rescue pumper next year, finally going to have all of our extracation equipment on one unit with 1000 gallons, 300 foam, and a full ems kit. As our apparatus are currently configured it's a 3 truck response to have all of our crash stuff which is dumb as hell at a volly.

It was 10 degrees in N IL 2 nights ago. 1am house fire (we run 9 stations (5 guys eng/amb, 8 and a BC at 2 with ladder/eng/amb and 6 at a tower/amb)
The house was fully involved. A hour later I had a 1/4 inch of ice on me. We were there 3 hours. I hate house fires this time of year. I WOULD RATHER NOT GO AT ALL. They are cold, dangerous with ice everywhere oh yeah COLD.
Our tower ladder at Station 6 has 186,000 miles on it. It breaks down weekly.

I'm at it, on #3 myself today. Started with a Fuente Work of Art this afternoon, then after checking 9 trail cams, tried a Tabacos Baez Serie SF by MF (cheap stick suggested by the local smoke shop), finishing with a Gran Oferta by MF tonight.
