the MA version makes it illegal to even have a mag capable of holding more than 10, but ironically, no law requiring that guns have a manual safety!Does that law limit to mags only capable of holding 10, or the factory mag can only have 10 in it???

I had the 9mm shield for a few years. Nice gun for concealed carry. But, I sold it & got a glock 43 9mm to replace it. The shield was a great gun & never had any issues with it, but I’m a glock guy & love my 43!!! As far as .40 cal goes, the FBI, US Military, & multiple law enforcement agencies across the country are running 9mm so there’s something to it. With modern ammo, it’s pretty effective. I carry a glock 17 9mm on duty & my glock 43 9mm off duty. There is that old saying that is undebatable though, “a 9mm might expand to a 45, but a 45 will never shrink to a 9mm.” So that being said, carry what your confident in!!!Speaking of, anyone have the .40 shield? Looking at that to replace my LC9.
Still solves nothing. Criminals with illegal guns aren't going to have legal mags. And criminals with legal guns are very rare and usually have more than 1 gun....the MA version makes it illegal to even have a mag capable of holding more than 10
Couldnt agree more, born and raised in Ohio, went to one of those schools where all the farmers would be in a tree stand till they went to school and had their shotguns in a gun rack in the parking lot... My butthole puckered when i moved to MA, and read up on all the gun laws.Still solves nothing. Criminals with illegal guns aren't going to have legal mags. Get pre-ban mags. I walk around Boston with 16 rounds in the gun, perfectly legal. Also, I can't stand manual safeties on handguns.the MA version makes it illegal to even have a mag capable of holding more than 10, but ironically, no law requiring that guns have a manual safety!
Pretty good price still, but the Phantom and Shadow are wildly different guns.BTW, this is a killer deal on a cz75 shadow if someone wanted to scratch that itch..

I’ve wanted a Sphinx since they came out, don’t think it would be for carry thoughSpeaking of CZ type pistols, Check out my Sphinx SDP. Cool little 8mm, but too heavy for me.View attachment 125893
We have the same in MO and have seen no adverse effects. I don't think it will pass, but there is a bill in state congress making it mandatory for ALL people from 18-35 who can legally own a firearm to have an AR15 in case a state militia is ever needed.Current CCW is Glock43 with a streamlight light/laser combo
The top one is myG43 the bottom is my sons G48 View attachment 133867
Love it in Idaho we have "constitutional carry" any resident that can leagaly posses a firearm can CCW WITHOUT a permit
