Thanks for turning me on to these guys. I'm a beat junkie, and I am constantly searching for new stuff. Amazing tunes here! Thanks brother. The new Little Brother album is very good.
I’d love to know where he’d be now, had he not crashed. He was sober, healthy and only getting better at that point in his careerSRV & Double Trouble - August 26, 1990 - Alpine Valley Music Theatre, East Troy, WI
I’ve had this recording for 10+ years but tonight is the first time I’m listening to it. Just couldn’t put it on knowing what would happen a few hours later. The all-star encore of “Sweet Home Chicago” on Disc 2 would be Stevie’s very last performance.
Skipped a chance to go to that show, had something else going and I figured "I'd see him next time". Nope.SRV & Double Trouble - August 26, 1990 - Alpine Valley Music Theatre, East Troy, WI

Yah, a total shame. He had gotten his life together...only the good die young.I’d love to know where he’d be now, had he not crashed. He was sober, healthy and only getting better at that point in his career
By any chance, was it the July 10, 1990 - Coop's Coliseum show?I had seen him for the second time a month or so earlier in Hamilton, Ontario. Can’t believe that was 29 years ago
It was at Copps and I’d love to get a copy!By any chance, was it the July 10, 1990 - Coop's Coliseum show?
If so, I have a recording of it. LMK if you're interested in getting a copy.
