Fuente confusion

I've always liked AF's and don't think I've had a bad one.

That said, I grabbed this one today and its gonna rest for a bit

I'm confused about their names. I'm pretty sure that this is a Double Chateau Churchill sungrown? But the wrapper is dark

When I search sungrown maduro, the cigar is shown with a green band at the foot. Where this one has a black band.

No biggie, just trying to make sure I get it right if I order online.

They come in Natural (Cameroon I believe with green ribbon), Sungrown (black ribbon), or Maduro iirc, not Sungrown Maduro

The black band one you have listed is an Ecuadorian sun-grown hence the dark color. The Chateau series has a natural, maduro, and sun-grown versions.

Have loved the AF line of cigars for decades and slowly have made a few my usual rotation which includes these:
Arturo Fuente Chateau Fuente Maduro ( or Double Chateau Maduro ) ..... it's all about the dark wrapper....this has the green ribbon at the bottom and for the pleasure and pricing few brands can beat this.

Arturo Fuente Chateau Fuente Sun Grown Cigar.....red ribbon and this again is one of my fav's for an all a round great cigar experience.

ARTURO FUENTE DON CARLOS CIGAR....when possible and when they go on "sale"....rent a U Haul Truck and store them. This could be the cigar that if you had to smoke only one for the rest of your life....this gets my vote.

ARTURO FUENTE HEMINGWAY CIGAR.....Maduro is my choice but the Naturals are good, too. I've seen this on The monster for around $125 a box with F/Shipping....I can stretch this cigar to an hour and 1/2 but it takes discipline but the reward is worth it....its tobacco candy!

Opus X Cigars in any size......it's about finding the right Vendor and I know 3 of them where I can get them at sticker so it's all about your size in this line.

Sharks.....these are so good and versatile in size and taste and once again it's all about Vendor/pricing....I love these so I buy them by the box...singles and 5 paks are just wasting money so when they go on sale....bring your U Haul.

Thanks for the info drop. I remember smoking the double chateu maduro. It was amazing and I have to start stocking up on them.

When I first started smoking, the liquor store on the corner was selling Hemingway naturals and must have not known what they had...but they're gone now. Great cigar. I'll definitely try the Maduro. Since I can't seem to escape the dark side flavors.

The rest I have no experience with. But I'm sure they're amazing.
